Your car has had a forced stop in a tunnel. How should you act?
Explanation
After stopping in a tunnel you must switch on the hazard warning lights at once and put out the breakdown warning triangle to warn other drivers. The rules also require you to switch off the engine if traffic in the tunnel comes to a stop, to reduce the build-up of exhaust fumes.
KET reference: KET 546: Tunnel. When traffic stops, the driver must switch off the engine. After a forced stop, switch on the hazard warning lights and put out the breakdown warning triangle.
