Road signs, markings and traffic controlQuestion #15001
What does this road-marking line indicate?
Explanation
A double line made of a solid and a broken line (marking 1.10) is used where overtaking or changing lanes is dangerous in one direction but allowed in the other. You may cross it only from the side with the broken line. From the solid-line side you may cross only to finish an overtaking or passing manoeuvre you already started.
KET reference: KET 3 pr. 1.10: a double line separates opposing or same-direction traffic flows; you may cross it from the broken-line side, and from the solid side only to finish overtaking or passing.
