The sign "No stopping" means that on the side of the road where it stands you may neither stop nor park. So beyond this sign you cannot stop at the kerb — the sign bans any stopping, even briefly to drop off a passenger or for a minute. Exceptions: scheduled public transport may stop at its stops, and the ban does not apply to vehicles marked with the "Disabled" sign or holding a disabled parking card. If the sign is used together with a solid yellow line (1.4), the ban lasts until the end of that line.
