When may the rear fog lamp be used?
Explanation
The rear fog lamp may only be used in poor visibility — thick fog, heavy snow or heavy rain. Once visibility improves, switch it off straight away: its bright red light dazzles drivers behind you and can be mistaken for a brake light.
