Traffic order and driving through intersectionsQuestion #14839
Must a driver give way to vehicles on the road they are joining from an acceleration lane?
Explanation
An acceleration lane lets you build up to traffic speed and merge safely. The driver joining has no priority and must give way to vehicles already travelling on the main road.
KET reference: KET 112: where an acceleration lane is provided for joining a road, the driver must use it and merge into the traffic flow, giving way to the vehicles already on that road.Report an issue. If your email app did not open, write to info@ketuzduotys.lt.
