Can you drive a car if the hazard warning lights do not work after a rear position lamp has failed?
Explanation
If a rear position lamp fails in the dark or in poor visibility and the hazard warning lights also do not work, the rules let you carry on, but only if a breakdown warning triangle is fixed to the back of the vehicle.
KET reference: KET 92, 234.5: if a rear position lamp has failed and the hazard lights do not work, to keep moving a breakdown warning triangle must be fixed at the rear.
