When is it prohibited to operate motorcycles with summer tyres?
Explanation
Motorcycles, mopeds, tricycles and quad bikes follow milder winter-tyre rules than cars. They may not use summer tyres only in the winter months (December, January, February) and at other times if the road is covered with snow or ice.
KET reference: KET 230: Mopeds, motorcycles, tricycles and quad bikes of all kinds may not be operated with summer tyres in December–February, and in March–November if part of the carriageway is snow- or ice-covered.
