Use of vehiclesQuestion #15887
Your car is towing another vehicle on a flexible tow rope. What is the maximum permitted speed on an expressway?
Explanation
When towing on a flexible tow rope, a special speed limit applies — no more than 50 km/h, whatever the type of road. Towing on a flexible rope is banned on motorways, but it is allowed on expressways as long as you keep to the speed limit.
KET reference: KET 131.5: When towing motor vehicles on a rigid tow bar – no more than 70 km/h, and on a flexible tow rope – no more than 50 km/h.Report an issue. If your email app did not open, write to info@ketuzduotys.lt.
