When is a driver forbidden to enter the intersection of carriageways even though the traffic light is green?
Explanation
Even on green you must not enter a junction if it is clear you cannot drive through and would have to stop inside it, blocking the crossing traffic. When the permitting signal comes on, you also let through vehicles finishing their way out of the junction and pedestrians finishing their crossing.
