Traffic order and driving through intersectionsQuestion #15220
When can a driver keep going after the amber traffic light comes on?
Explanation
Although the amber light forbids movement, the rules make an exception for drivers who can no longer stop safely before the intersection. Braking hard could endanger the vehicles following behind.
KET reference: KET 166: a driver who, when the amber signal comes on, could only stop at the places named in rule 165 by braking hard is allowed to continue.Report an issue. If your email app did not open, write to info@ketuzduotys.lt.
