Traffic order and driving through intersectionsQuestion #15990
Is it allowed to ride an electric micro-mobility device (e-scooter) on a footpath?
Explanation
The rules clearly forbid riders of electric micro-mobility devices from using footpaths. They may ride on bicycle paths, shared pedestrian and bicycle paths, and bicycle lanes, and where there are none — on the shoulder or pavement, with exceptions.
KET reference: KET 66⁹.2: Riders of electric micro-mobility devices may not ride on footpaths.
