Traffic order and driving through intersectionsQuestion #16279
When are you allowed to keep going if, on a yellow traffic light, you could only stop before the "Stop" line by braking sharply?
Explanation
The rules make an exception for drivers who, when the yellow signal comes on, can no longer stop safely before the "Stop" line or other marked point without braking sharply. In that case they are allowed to continue through the intersection.
KET reference: KET 29 p. ir 166 p.: drivers who, when the yellow signal comes on, could stop at the marked points only by braking sharply are allowed to drive on.
